J.P. Verma, An M.A. in English Literature, started his career in CBI and retired as S.P. with distinction in Anti-corruption, Special Crimes and Economic Offences Wings of the organization investigations. Had the opportunity to investigate / supervise internationally important cases such as assassination of former Prime Ministers Smt. Indira Gandhi and Shri Rajiv Gandhi, Baroda Dynamite case, Telgi Fake Stamps cases.
In between served as OSD (I) Dy Commissioner of Security for over 5 years on deputation from 1994 to 1999 with the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security and was responsible for framing policy guidelines on aviation security as also their enforcement at civil airports. |

R.D. Gupta, A law graduate, joined Central Police Organisation and worked on various assignments at the national and international levels. An ICAO qualified Aviation Instructor. Worked as AVSEC Instructor in the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS). Has 20 years of experience in aviation industry and retired from the BCAS as Dy Commissioner of Security. Conducted AVSEC audit at the international airports as member of ICAO AVSEC Audit team being a certified AVSEC Auditor under the Universal AVSEC Audit Programme of ICAO. He was an AVSEC Advisor from India in the AVSEC Panel of ICAO. He was one of the members of ICAO Working Group on New and Emerging Threats to Civil Aviation after 9/11 incident. |
